I'm 58 and decided to try Saxenda at a cost of $650 a month. I lost 13 pounds and it worked well and really suppressed my appetite. My doctor suggested to try Ozempic and been on it for 10 weeks and no weight drop. On my second week on 1ml shot and will give it 6 more weeks because it only costs $270 per month. It's frustrating that I have been at the same weight for 10 weeks. Mounjaro is my next step even knowing it will cost about $500 a month. BMI is 32 and weight 224 at 5'9" and need to weigh around 170 to 160. Been eating healthy and working out 5 days a week. Time will tell in this journey.

This guy is full of s*** I've been in a fib for 15. Yes, I've had 2 electrocardiograms. Grams and one of it worked. I have a pacemaker. I'm on a beta-blocker and and a blood thinner which I cannot afford any more. Because my Health Insurance stopped covernight. So I may prime candidate for a stroke. Most people that are in a fib can't be cured. It's not a curable disease. It. It's very rare that an ablation will cure a fib.

I’ve lost 24 pounds on Mounjaro, I had osteopenia and now after 5 mths on Mounjaro, I have osteoporosis. Most of the bone loss is in my spine and my t score is 2.5 now,I’m eating 100-115 grams of protein per day. I drink 1 protein shake in the morning just started the last couple of weeks using resistance bands and 5 lb weights 2x a week 15 mins. I weigh 170 now,height 5’2 I am prediabetic insulin resistant with high blood pressure. Should I take estrogen because I am a woman opposed to testosterone for man?

What about thyroid cancer from taking Olympic or other drug?

Very interesting ! I'm lucky still having all my teeth in good condition and it's great to see people can smile again. I have a question about immediate loading of teeth. My brother had implant supported bridges done, upper and lower with immediate teeth (not Clear Choice,I must emphasize). Everything was fine but after a few months he had some shrinking of gums as the swelling went down and had problems with food getting stuck and getting a couple of gum abcesses. He went back to them and to be totally fair, they made adjustments and completely fixed his problem, he's been fine for 5 years now. I just wonder is it better for some patients to wait for a time to allow gums to settle before permanent teeth go in? Btw, I should make it clear the issue happened after the healing period using temporaries. It did happen after his permanent teeth were put in. Maybe he just needed longer.

He kept making an issue of medication's for a fib aren't as good as ablation because they have side effects but blood thinners have absolutely no side effects. Not just with me, but it's never been known to make any side effects.

The interviewer keeps cutting in so annoying. This Doctor is very patient and knowledgable in all he said. Knowing your options is key in all aspect of life. Unfortunately most doctors are fixated, arrogant yet not well researched. I personally think diet and lifestyle are the main cause to health issues yet never addressed and assessed for treatment. All given meds to suppress.

I chew on a pinch of those seeds every day. They use it for coloring cheese, sauces and I think maybe butter. The seeds are not even expensive.
